
Jennifer graduated from the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice. She went on to work at Central State Hospital in Louisville, KY for several years before deciding to continue her education at the University of Louisville by earning her master’s in criminal justice. She has gone on to teach at several universities across the country including Sullivan University, Longwood University, Georgia State University, and Jefferson Community and Technical College as the Department Chair. Jennifer is now a professor at the University of Louisville where she teaches research methods, quantitative analysis, sex crimes, and serial and mass murder.
Jennifer has a passion for the criminal justice system and helping victims of human trafficking. She has been teaching criminal justice for 15 years and has research interests in youth violence, adolescent development, and local crime rates. She hopes to bring her knowledge of human trafficking, research, and statistics to help further the mission of the organization.
PATH Coalition of Kentucky
PATH Coalition of Kentucky is a 501(c)3 that includes passionate advocates and professionals. Led by a Board of Directors, PATH works with community based organizations to achieve our Mission: Educating, informing, and empowering ourselves and others in understanding human trafficking and promoting and advocating social justice efforts toward its end.
