
Yamiley graduated from Transylvania University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2006 and received her Masters in Social Work with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kent School of Social Work in 2008. She has worked as a therapist at the Child Advocacy Center in Pikeville, KY and as a Diabetes Coordinator. Upon moving to Louisville, she was a bilingual Forensic Interviewer at Family and Children’s Place Child Advocacy Center, where she has been employed for the past 9 years. In 2020, she became the Associate Executive Director.
Yamiley has interviewed over 2000 children and received training by national agencies, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Criminal Justice Training Center, and the National Child Advocacy Center. Her passion is to help children and work in helping them give them a voice so they can begin their path to healing.

PATH Coalition of Kentucky is a 501(c)3 that includes passionate advocates and professionals. Led by a Board of Directors, PATH works with community based organizations to achieve our Mission: Educating, informing, and empowering ourselves and others in understanding human trafficking and promoting and advocating social justice efforts toward its end.
